Building a Greener Tomorrow, Together

Green Future is a Batié-based NGO championing environmental protection, women's leadership, and sustainable agriculture. Rooted in community, we empower women and youth to lead the way toward a resilient Cameroon.

"At Green Future, we believe that every tree planted, every farmer trained, and every child educated is a step toward a brighter, more sustainable future. By empowering women and youth, we ensure our communities grow through inclusive leadership and shared responsibility."

About Us

Our Story

In the hills of Cameroon's Western Region, neighbors in Batié noticed their streams slowing and forests thinning. Meeting under a mango tree, they began planting trees, teaching composting, and organizing clean-ups. Their grassroots initiative grew into Green Future, registered under Law N° 90/053 (No. 281/RDA/F/F38/SAAJP). Today, with offices in Batié and Douala, we bridge rural communities and national action.

Mission & Objectives

Our Mission: Green Future protects the environment, advances environmental and digital education, and promotes sustainable agriculture – with women and youth leading every initiative.

Our Objectives

  • Environmental Protection – Led by women, we restore ecosystems and promote ecological practices.
  • Education – Women and youth drive environmental and digital literacy programs.
  • Eco-friendly Agriculture – Women farmers adopt sustainable methods, improving food security.

Across all objectives, women are decision‑makers, trainers, and leaders.

Our Values

🌱 Inclusive Leadership – Women and youth lead our projects.
🤝 Shared Responsibility – We work with communities.
📊 Evidence-Based Action – We measure impact.
⚖️ Gender Equality – Women are agents of change.
🌍 Sustainability – Solutions that last.
